1 Until 31 December 2024, up to 5 per cent non-organic yeast extract or autolysed yeast, calculated as dry mass, may be used to produce organic yeast if it can be proved that no organically produced yeast extract or autolysed yeast is available.
2 Until 31 December 2025, non-organically produced gellan gum (E 418) in accordance with Annex 3 part A may be used to produce processed foodstuffs. 3 The time limit given in paragraph 1 shall be extended to 31 December 2025. 4 The time limits given in paragraphs 1 and 2 shall be extended to 31 December 2026.
