Art. 16a
1 The provisions laid down in Annex II Part III of Regulation (EU) 2018/848 as amended by Annex 3b must be complied with for the conversion of algae reproduction and aquaculture facilities, the production and reproduction of algae produced in aquaculture, the gathering of wild algae, the production, origin, feeding and animal health of aquaculture animals and animal husbandry practices, and for inspection procedures. 2 The following provisions also apply: a. In the production of salmonid, non-organic haemoglobin powder may account for no more than 10 per cent of the total feed consumption, as a ratio of dry matter. b. In outdoor aquaculture facilities, up to 90 per cent of the water may be recycled.
