Where to find instruments: eBay, Reverb, local classifieds, estate sales. What to check before buying: working keys, original PSU, signs of corrosion or recap work.

Assessing Condition

Visual inspection checklist. Test each voice, check tuning stability, listen for noise or hum. Identify missing or damaged sliders and knobs.

Basic Repair Workflow

Start with cleaning pots and keys. Replace capacitors in power supply if aged. Reseat connectors. Use service manuals from Synth Zone or Elektrotanya.
