Art. 47 Referendum and commencement
1 This Act is subject to an optional referendum. 2 The Federal Council shall determine the date on which this Act comes into force; until federal legislation on weapons comes into force, it may refrain from bringing individual provisions into force. 3 It shall regulate trade in propellant powder that is intended for civilian purposes until related statutory provisions have come into force.
