Art. 18 Transitional provisions
1 The census shall be conducted according to the new law from 2010. 2 The Federal Council shall provide the Federal Assembly with an analysis report on the 2010 census at the appropriate time. It shall present the results in the individual survey areas and evaluate the effects of the change of system.
Art. 19 Referendum and commencement
1 This Act is subject to an optional referendum. 2 The Federal Council determines the date on which this Act comes into force. Commencement date: 1 January 2008
