The Federal Council, based on Article 19 paragraph 2 letter a of the Federal Act of 21 March 2003 on Non‑Human Gene Technology (Gene Technology Act, GTA);and in implementation of the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety of 29 January 2000 (Cartagena Protocol) in relation to the Convention on Biological Diversity, ordains:
