Llanberis Path
The Llanberis Path is the longest and most gradual of the six routes up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Wales' highest mountain, shadowing the historic mountain railway from the village of Llanberis to the summit. It is the busiest of the routes thanks to its steady gradient and easy access.
Best done May to October in settled weather; check the Met Office mountain forecast and start early, as the summit cafe and railway shut in winter and clouds often close in by afternoon.
