The Book That Required the Right Moment

Some books find you exactly when you need them. The Four Agreements was not that for me at first. I bought it at an airport bookshop, read 40 pages on the plane, and forgot about it. The second attempt ended at the same chapter. The third time I picked it up during a particularly difficult week at work and something about the agreement to not take anything personally hit me in a way it simply had not before. I finished it in two evenings.
