The Most Beautiful Fantasy Novel I Have Read and the Problem With That

The Name of the Wind is the best-written fantasy novel I have encountered. Patrick Rothfuss has a prose style that makes the reading experience feel effortless and deliberate at the same time. Kvothe is a character I have not tired of rereading. The problem is that the trilogy is unfinished after fifteen years and no publication date exists for the third book. That fact has changed the way I feel about recommending it to people who have not started yet.
