Every one of the 36 clubs is ranked in the same table. Each club plays eight different opponents across the season, with four home games and four away. No two clubs meet twice, and no club faces all 35 rivals. Opponents are drawn from four seeded pots, so every team faces two clubs from each pot, one at home and one away. Three points for a win, one for a draw. Goal difference is the first tiebreaker. After eight matchdays, the table decides everything: the top eight advance directly to the Round of 16.
