## Gas giant around WASP-89

It is 1.04 times Jupiter's radius, closest in size to Jupiter, and 1875.2 times Earth's mass, at 7.00 g/cm3, denser than Earth. A year there lasts 3.36 days, on an orbit 9 times closer to its star than Mercury is to the Sun. Its equilibrium temperature is 1120 K, hot enough to melt lead. The host star WASP-89 runs at 5130 K with 0.92 times the Sun's mass.
