## Gas giant around WASP-33

It is 1.59 times Jupiter's radius, closest in size to Jupiter, and 665.2 times Earth's mass, at 0.69 g/cm3, less dense than Earth. A year there lasts 1.22 days, on an orbit 16 times closer to its star than Mercury is to the Sun. Its equilibrium temperature is 2782 K, hotter than the surface of many stars. The host star WASP-33 runs at 7430 K with 1.50 times the Sun's mass.
