Daily routine

0%

7:00 am: check the trough is full and unfrozen, then turn out to the top paddock

7:15 am: morning feed, one scoop of chaff plus a scoop of balancer, no hard feed before work

Match her rug to the weather. She overheats fast, so err lighter than you think

Pick out all four feet, check for stones and that her shoes are tight

Midday: if she is stabled, top up the hay net, minimum two sections

5:00 pm: evening feed, chaff, balancer, and her joint supplement from the labelled scoop

Skip out the box and refill water before the last check at 9:00 pm
