From the top you can count up to ten lakes scattered across central Switzerland and a sweep of peaks from the Mythen to the Glarus Alps. Stoos itself is reached by the steepest funicular in the world. :NOTE.half The Stoos funicular from Schwyz is the steepest in the world at 110 percent gradient. Chairlifts then run to both ends of the ridge. | :NOTE.half The crest is narrow with steep drops on either side. It is a hands free walk in dry weather but feels exposed and should be skipped in high wind. :LINK https://www.stoos-muotatal.ch/en Stoos ridge and funicular
