Across the gorge stands the Trollveggen, the highest vertical rock face in Europe. The route runs the airy crest then drops by the Romsdalstrappa stone stairway built into the final descent. :NOTE.half A shuttle bus runs from Andalsnes to the Vengedalen start so you can walk the ridge one way back to town. | :NOTE.half There is a short exposed scramble on the ridge with a chain. The descent is long and steep on the knees. Save it for clear weather. :LINK https://www.visitnorway.com/listings/romsdalseggen/ Romsdalseggen ridge info
