The Top of Interlaken
Harder Kulm is the house mountain of Interlaken, a wooded summit with a viewing platform that juts out over the town. From the top you look straight down the strip of land between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, the two lakes a different blue, with the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau filling the valley behind. The climb up is a steady forest haul, but a funicular runs for the way down.


:NOTE
The Harder funicular climbs from Interlaken in eight minutes if you only want to walk one way. Most people hike up and ride down.
