Stairs in the Spray
A short, steep classic climbing granite cut steps right alongside Vernal Fall, then continuing up to the top of Nevada Fall. In spring the spray drenches everything, by midsummer the steps are dry and the falls run thin.


:NOTE
Bring a rain shell and pack everything electronic in a dry bag, since the granite stairs are slick and the spray is heavier than it looks. No permits needed, but parking fills early so take the Yosemite Valley shuttle to Happy Isles.
