Kungsleden
Kungsleden, "The King's Trail," is Sweden's classic Arctic traverse, running roughly 440 km through the wild fells, birch forests and glacial valleys of Lapland between Abisko and Hemavan. This slate captures one stage of the iconic Kungsleden, the celebrated northern section through Sweden's highest peaks.


:NOTE
Walk late June to mid September when the STF mountain huts are open and rivers are crossable; book hut beds early in peak August and pack for sudden cold, rain and mosquitoes.
