:INFO The Heist Novel That Made Me Laugh Out Loud on a Train The Lies of Locke Lamora is about a gang of thieves called the Gentleman Bastards who operate in Camorr, a fantasy city built on the ruins of an alien civilization. Scott Lynch writes with a propulsive energy and a very dry wit that produces the most entertaining heist plot I have found in any genre. The scene where Locke attempts to bluff his way past a crime lord using nothing but his confidence is the funniest thing I have read in fantasy and possibly the best thing in the book. :COUNTER.half 752 Pages | :NOW.half Wondering if the sequels live up to this one :QUOTE [quotetype:plain, subtitle:Scott Lynch] I'm not actually very good at this.
