Six stages. Foam panels to final clear coat. The build in order, nothing skipped.

01.01.2025Foam sheets cut and beveled to body template. First panel shapes confirmed.

01.01.2025

01.02.2025Contact cement applied. Panels bonded and clamped overnight under weight.

01.02.2025

01.02.2025Worbla heat-formed over the foam core. Compound curves held clean.

01.02.2025

01.03.2025First primer coat down. Three full sand cycles before moving to colour.

01.03.2025

01.03.2025Base red laid with airbrush. Masking pulled back clean on every edge.

01.03.2025

01.04.2025Shoulder horn detail finished before final clear coat. Build complete.

Matte clear coat

Score foam edges at 45 degrees before bonding. The bevel disappears under primer.

Three sand cycles between primer coats is the minimum. Rushing this shows under the final colour.
