Game Design
Choose your oracle system: a tarot deck, standard playing cards, a d6 table, or a custom prompt deck. Design around the oracle. Write the framing premise: who the player is, what they are doing, and why it matters.
Writing the Game
Write in second person. Keep rules minimal and focused on enabling play. Include at least one random table. Write safety tools into the text. Edit for clarity above all else.
Distribution and Pricing
Publish on itch.io first. Submit to the Itch.io Solo RPG collection. Consider DriveThruRPG for a wider audience once the game has reviews. Set a price of 2 to 5 USD with a pay-what-you-want floor.
