The Fishermen's Trail

The Fishermen's Trail follows the paths that local anglers have used for generations along the Costa Vicentina, the wildest stretch of Portuguese coast. It runs on sandy clifftop tracks high above empty Atlantic beaches, past sea stacks where white storks nest, the only place in the world they do so on the open ocean. The walking is soft underfoot and exposed to wind and sun, but the coast is untouched.
